We think kids will find the children's area at the park a blast. Plenty of your expected things such as petting the goats and a play area but there will also be an "Interactive House" where they can actually "See, Touch and Hold" a lot of animals. These animals include Chinchillas, Hedgehogs, Ferrets, Bearded Dragon Lizards, Blue Tongued Skinks, Snakes, Hermit Crabs, Spiders, Hissing Cockroaches and more.

The image below is a basic layout of the childrens area. We believe the adults at the park will find the children's area just as enjoyable as the children do.

The first project in Phase 1 is to build the interactive House. The Interactive house will be a key element in the childrens area and will finally provide a permanent place for a lot of the animals that need to be moved constantly for weather and special events. The Interactive House will cost approximately $30,000.00 to complete and will provide a wonderful first step at the park for guests to visit. Once complete we will be able to move on to the rest of the childrens area.

There will also be a shallow man-made flowing splash creek where the kids can kick their shoes off and wade in the water, race stick boats or whatever their little imaginations can come up with. It's all about being outside and experiencing nature while having fun! Can you imagine an afternoon outside with no cellphones, tablets, or TV? We hope so as that is what we are all about in the children's area.

Being able to see in person is worth much more than a picture, but being able to touch and understand what things feel like are pricless.
Are snakes slimey? Do those sharp looking barbs on the Iguana and Bearded Dragon hurt to touch?...Find out in the childrens area. Once completed the childrens area will provide plenty to do to keep you entertained for the afternoon and just maybe we hope you will learn something along the way.
